Make Space for Girls Festival 2024
Following the success of the 2023 Make Space for Girls Festival the Friends of Rowntree Park are running another one. The festival is aimed at encouraging girls to use their local parks for mental and physical well-being. There will be over 30 fantastic events and they are all free. Medieval Archives Workshop
I am thrilled to be involved in a very exciting event in partnership with Explore York Libraries and Archives and the University of York. Families will be given the opportunity to see a number of the medieval city books contained in the archive. The books are fascinating records of medieval life and beautiful artefacts in themselves. I will be running one of three workshops exploring the books. Floral Workshop
On Saturday 27 April I will be running a relaxing workshop for spring at All Saints Church. The afternoon workshop will explore a series of floral compositions working with line drawing, collage and watercolour paint. It is open to adults of all abilities and all the materials will be provided. Refreshments will be available and visitors can also explore this beautiful church with world-famous stained glass windows.
