Floral Workshop
On Saturday 27 April I will be running a relaxing workshop for spring at All Saints Church. The afternoon workshop will explore a series of floral compositions working with line drawing, collage and watercolour paint. It is open to adults of all abilities and all the materials will be provided. Refreshments will be available and visitors can also explore this beautiful church with world-famous stained glass windows. Copenhagen
I have recently visited Copenhagen where my son is currently studying at the university. I left Denmark with the thought that the Danish way of life is both considerate and considered. The Danes are committed to sustainability and there is evidence of this everywhere. The use of natural materials and the blending of old and new architecture are both outstanding. I knew that I would love the art and the design and I did. Highlights were Designmuseum Denmark, The National Gallery of Denmark and Louisiana Museum of Modern Art. I saw thought-provoking exhibitions at each and the touring Pussy Riot exhibition at Louisiana was incredibly moving. It is a country that makes one think.
