Following the publication of Made By Hand At Home I have enjoyed being able to run workshops based upon ideas from the book. I am currently running a series of Wooden Utensils Workshops at York Explore libraries. Further to the dates listed here we have added a workshop at Dringhouses Library on Thursday 28 October 2.30 – 3.30 and at New Earswick Library on Saturday 6 November 10.30 – 11.30. The events so far have been lovely family affairs with parents joining their children to create fantastic characters. Examples of their creations and examples of my ideas for upcycling the utensils can be found on my social media. The workshops are free but places need to be booked.
